三星電子在法說會上宣佈，將於今年底在美國德州泰勒（Taylor）廠區動工興建第二座半導體製造廠「Taylor Fab 2」，目標2030年開始量產。
《韓國時報》（The Korea Times）報導，三星電子在財報電話會議中表示，公司正準備在2026年內啟動Taylor Fab 2的建設工程，並以2030年正式投產為目標。三星是全球最大的記憶體晶片製造商。
三星指出，第一座泰勒廠「Taylor Fab 1」的建設進度符合預期，預計2026年投入營運。該廠啟用後，三星將逐步擴大2奈米製程技術的產能。三星還透露，由於客戶對1.4奈米製程的詢問日益增加，公司正評估取得額外製造產能的計畫。同時，三星正將成熟製程的生產資源集中於高附加價值產品。
