柏南首次演說指脫歐造成 10 年低成長

英國新任首相安迪·柏南在接替基爾·斯塔默後，首次於下議院發表演說，將英國近年經濟困境歸咎於脫歐。
根據《衛報》（The Guardian）與《獨立報》（The Independent）報導，柏南在首次首相演說中表示，他對英國「出了什麼問題有明確的診斷」，並指出自 1980 年代以來，英國採取了「一連串錯誤的轉向」，而脫歐是造成英國「10 年低成長」的原因之一。柏南也對其前任基爾·斯塔默表達敬意。
基爾·斯塔默於今年夏天在執政 2 年後動盪不安的局面下辭去工黨黨魁職務。據半島電視台（Al Jazeera）與中東媒體 The New Arab 報導，斯塔默宣佈將辭去國會議員職務，轉而專注於「國際事務」。此前，他曾承諾會繼續擔任 Holborn and St Pancras 選區的議員。
