英國警方再捕兩男涉協助伊朗情報單位

英國警方 10 月 20 日宣佈，已再次逮捕 2 名男子，懷疑他們協助伊朗情報單位，調查上月在英格蘭西南部 RAF Fairford 空軍基地發生的事件。

這 2 名男子先前已因涉嫌與該基地事件有關而被捕，此次則因涉嫌協助伊朗情報單位而再度遭拘留。英國警方表示，此次逮捕是針對 9 月發生在 RAF Fairford 空軍基地事件的持續調查。

RAF Fairford 基地當時駐有美軍轟炸機，用於對伊朗發動攻擊。9 月 27 日凌晨，5 名英國男子在該軍事基地外被捕後，美軍的 B-1 轟炸機不久即撤離。英國首相上週表示，該基地的活動很可能是在伊朗境內策劃，但伊朗駐英國大使已否認此說法。
