1架由Kenmore Air營運的DHC-3T兩棲飛機7月23日在華盛頓州聖胡安群島蘇西亞島（Sucia Island）淺灣（Shallow Bay）墜毀，機上11人（含1名飛行員與10名乘客）在飛機起火燃燒前全數獲救，其中4人因重傷送醫治療。
根據AeroTime報導，這架註冊編號N709KA的飛機在蘇西亞島岸邊墜毀後起火。美聯社引述《耶路撒冷郵報》（The Jerusalem Post）報導指出，美國海岸防衛隊參與了救援行動。AeroTime指出，該飛機執飛附近航線，服務多個基地航表目的地。耶路撒冷郵報則報導，海岸防衛隊在華盛頓州海域墜機事件中救出11人，其中4人受傷。
