美國總統川普在黃金時段全國演說中指控中國干預 2020 年美國大選，北京當局隨即反駁，稱此說法純屬捏造。
美國聯邦法官日前裁定，司法部收集各州未經塗改的選民名冊、用以比對聯邦移民資料庫的做法違法。半島電視台（Al Jazeera，卡達）報導，這項裁決認定司法部使用選民資料交叉比對移民資料庫的行為不合法。巴西《經濟價值報》（Valor Econômico）指出，法院認定川普政府利用移民資料排除選民的做法違法。《衛報》（Guardian World）美國版（Guardian US，英國）報導，法官裁定司法部收集各州完整選民名冊以比對聯邦移民資料庫的政策屬違法行為。
川普在演說中聲稱，新解密檔案顯示美國選舉基礎設施存在「令人震驚的脆弱性」，並表示自己先前遭政府內部的「深層政府」人士誤導。加拿大廣播（Radio-Canada，加拿大）引述川普說法，解密檔案顯示選舉基礎設施存在「脆弱性」。獨立報（The Independent，英國）報導，川普聲稱新公佈的檔案揭露美國選舉制度的「令人震驚的脆弱性」，並稱自己曾被政府內部的「深層政府」行為者誤導。衛報美國版（Guardian US，英國）指出，川普在黃金時段演說中提出未經證實的「惡意選舉操弄」指控，並公佈大量塗改過的檔案。Google 新聞（Google News，美國）引述 CBS News 報導，白宮指控中方取得選民資料，川普同時就選舉議題發表黃金時段演說。
新德里電視台（NDTV，印度）指出，川普及其盟友提出超過 60 起訴訟，沒有任何一項裁決認定存在足以改變 2020 年大選結果的舞弊，而重新計票、稽核以及川普自己的司法部都未發現舞弊證據。
