根據法國媒體franceinfo 報導，這場危機會議將在內政部舉行，時間早於原定的內閣會議。法國《解放報》（Libération）引述地方官員說法指出，負責的省長已於7月26日週日宣佈，只要火勢尚未完全控制，撤離的居民就無法返家，並警告隨著7月28日週二高溫回歸，火勢可能進一步惡化。
